The Sompong Thai Cooking School offers family-friendly traditional Thai food cooking lessons. As part of the course, budding chefs are taken to the local market, where they get to experience Thai food culture first hand. There are exotic fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, seafood and meats, purchased on the same day and used in the cooking session; they are included in the price of the course. Vegetarian and MSG-free classes are available.

Upon arriving at the cooking school, Sompong chefs will offer a welcome drink, fresh fruit and a recipe book. The menu varies each day of the week and it can be adapted for those with allergies or special dietary requirements. After the lesson, there will be an opportunity to eat the food together and to take away whatever is left over.
