On the way to Sol Duc Falls, you’ll pass Sol Duc Hot Springs, a small rustic resort with hot spring pools; you can visit with a day guest pass; adults cost $12.25 and children ages 4 to 12 are $9.25. It is closed mid-October through March. Young kids love these pools, especially on damp days, but older kids may find them ho-hum. During summer months, we prefer to prioritize beaches and lakes.
