Start your day with an easy cruiser like Sawyer’s Swoop, a rollicking good run through the trees that rewards you with excellent views of the Presidential Range. Then make your way over to the aptly named, No Regrets, off the Fabyan Express Triple Chair. Many of the blues in the middle of the mountain, like No Regrets, are mellow and good fun for low-level intermediates. After lunch, make your way over to the black runs on West Mountain, which get the afternoon sun. Waumbek is a sweet trail with little traffic on the perimeter of the mountain. For expert skiers, Bretton Woods recently added 30 acres of glades on Mt. Stickney. Full and half-day instruction is available at The Hobbit Ski and Snowboard School for children ages 3 to 12. Also inquire about the Family Lesson, where children learn along with mom and dad. The Babes in the Woods Nursery offers child care services for children ages 2 months to 5 years.
