One of the few family-owned, independently operated theme parks in the country, Silverwood rivals the best of them with a number of rides and quality of entertainment for families throughout the Pacific Northwest. This 700-acre property features 65 rides, including two wooden roller coasters — one goes underground four times. Get there early to grab one of the 20 family cabanas at the Boulder Beach Water Park that offers toddler spraygrounds and zero-entry pools along with family-sized rafts to shoot the rapids together. The newest wet-and-wild thrills can be found at the 60-foot-tall mat racer slide, where riders race down six lanes at high speeds, hoping to claim victory. Admission starts from $46 for kids and adults ages 8 and older, and allows access to both Silverwood and Boulder Beach for one day. Other tickets and passes are available at different price points. Silverwood and Boulder Beach are open seasonally — open daily June through August; open on weekends during the fall and spring.
