The five vintage tramcars that carry people up and down the boardwalk (while broadcasting that famous phrase, “Watch the tram car please!”) were originally built in 1939 for the New York World’s Fair. The cars run from 11 a.m. to midnight, and they’re a great way to get back in the direction of your hotel after you’ve been walking all day (and have had a few too many slices of Sam’s pizza!). Tramcar tickets cost $2.50 per person, and children ages 3 and under ride free.
