Located on the Seaside, Oregon promenade and mere steps from the beach, the Seaside Aquarium has been a popular attraction for nearly 80 years. Kids will love to feed the friendly harbor seals and watch them bark and splash. For just $2, you can buy a tray of fish for your kids to toss to the dozen or so seals that live in the aquarium. Buy more than one tray — the seals won’t mind and it’s truly a Seaside, Oregon tradition!
The Seaside Aquarium is small, but well-loved by visitors and locals. Its size is perfect for young children who will spend most of their time at the touch tank filled with starfish, sea anemone, and sea urchins. If you can pull them away from that, they will be amazed at the giant octopus, wolf eels, and other creatures on display.
Admission
The Aquarium is open daily, and admission is $8 for adults, $4 for kids 6 to 13, and free for children under 5.
