Stocked with touch tanks and regular tanks filled with starfish, manta rays and other sea creatures, this small aquarium is far less expensive than the nearby Aquarium of the Pacific and may be more manageable for younger children. There are spots for viewing sand sharks and other fish outdoors, and for a small fee, children can feed the fish at scheduled times throughout the day.
Hours
Open 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Closed Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 14 and under. Metered parking is available in a lot across from the lab.
