This 360-acre park showcases one of the world’s highest suspension bridges, stretching across the Royal Gorge above the Arkansas river. If you’re not afraid of heights, ride over and back on the gondola for stunning views. In addition to the gondolas, the park includes an adrenaline-rushing skycoaster, children’s playland, water clock, zip line, and historical expo theater. Currently under construction (at time of writing April 2016) is the Elk Park Amphitheater, which will host special events and live musical performances, with lawn seating for 2,000 guests.
