Also known as Hobie Beach or Windsurfer Beach Causeway, this narrow strip of sand on the north side of the Rickenbacker Causeway is a great place to bring the kids to watch the kitesurfers launch their soaring sails, filling the sky with a riot of colors. The water is nice and shallow for a dip, too, but be careful, as it’s often busy with new kite surfers learning the ropes. Parking is free.
