The large, wide sandy beach that lines Rehoboth offers an excellent place for kids to play beach games, build sandcastles or fly a kite. Situated along the Atlantic Ocean, kids will also love to boogie board, surf and swim in the ocean. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months.

Designated fishing beaches are marked and bonfires or alcoholic are not permitted on the beach. There are public restrooms along the boardwalk and near Rehoboth Avenue, but visitors are asked not to use them as changing rooms.

Cost
There is no cost or beach tag needed to enjoy Rehoboth Beach.

Dining
At some portions of the beach, visitors must cross the boardwalk to reach the beach, which has numerous dining options.

Parking
Street parking is available around the beach. The parking meters are in effect from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your vacation rental or hotel is located near the beach, walking is recommended.
