Held between March and December, the nation’s longest-running, open-air arts market features purveyors selling their wares along the Willamette River. On any given Saturday (and often Sunday), shoppers can sample ethnic fare like kielbasa, falafel and even Nepalese dumplings, while browsing the numerous stalls overflowing with jewelry, paintings, photography, clothing, soap, ceramics and much more. Also be on the lookout for street performers, including fiddlers, magicians and acrobats.
