Located at the Ocean Institute, the Pilgrim is a full-sized replica of the three-masted 1825 schooner that Richard Henry Dana first wrote about in his novel. The ship hosts dramatic and musical theatre performances throughout the summer months and serves as a living classroom with annual sails made up of a volunteer crew. The ship hosts an open house to the public on most Sundays, where staff dressed in period costumes provide interactive tours between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
