This is a fun, beautiful, and inexpensive way to explore Estes Park, Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park on your family vacation. The oldest scenic route in Colorado, Peak to Peak Scenic Byway actually begins in Estes Park, going through many areas — such as Nederland, Blackhawk, and Clear Creek Canyon — before reaching Colorado’s I-70.
We suggest you drive a part of it, stop for lunch in one of the towns along the way, and then head back to Estes Park.
