Just outside of Easton, Maryland, families can visit the Wye Grist Mill to see flour and corn meal made in the oldest continually operating grist mill in the U.S. Buy some to take home! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Wye Grist Mill is famous for providing flour to George Washington’s Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Admission to this landmark attraction is free.

The Wye Grist Mill is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Visit on the first or third Saturday of the month for grinding days.
