For a look at atmospheric Old Nice, plan several hours exploring the city’s historic old town, called the Vieille Ville in French. The red-tiled rooftops here are narrow, and winding streets house unique boutiques and cozy restaurants as well as lots of souvenir shops selling things like lavender soaps and olive oil from Provence.
Be aware that the cobbled streets aren’t exactly stroller friendly, so a baby carrier might be preferable.
