This kitschy section of Sacramento is a throw back to its origins as a gold rush town, complete with buildings from the mid-1800s. In this area, the California State Railroad Museum, California Automobile Museum, Sacramento History Museum, Old Sacramento Schoolhouse and the Wells Fargo History Museum are within walking distance of each other. The 28-acre dining and shopping area is home to 53 historic buildings.
