Located in Balboa Park, the Old Globe Theatre presents plays and musicals, many of which are well-known. Past performances have included “Into the Woods,” “Kiss Me, Kate” and “The Comedy of Errors.”
In November and December each year, the theatre also presents “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” complete with a real-life, snow-covered Whoville.
Hours vary, though performances typically take place nightly, with matinees available on weekends. Tickets start at $28 per person.
