Olbrich Botanical Gardens features 16 acres of beautiful gardens — both indoors and out. The highlight for kids and families is Blooming Butterflies, when free-flying butterflies take over the Bolz Conservatory. The museum’s annual light exhibit, GLEAM, is not to be missed, either.
Hours
The museum is open March through November. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. April to September; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in October; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in November.
Admission
Admission is just $2 for adults and free for kids under age 5. Tip: Visit on Wednesday or Saturday mornings for free admission (not applicable during Blooming Butterflies).
