On the north side of Casey’s Pass, which cuts between Venice and Nokomis Beach, it looks across the pass at South Jetty Park. Fishermen love it here, and so do surfers when the waves pick up. It’s a great beach destination as well, with lifeguards on duty year-round. It encompasses a playground, picnic shelters and grills, lots of trees, and two options for your family feeding frenzy. An old-school bait and sandwich shop sits right on the pass, while a newer, shinier food concession serves greater variety with outdoor seating.
