Nauset Light Beach is an excellent family-friendly beach in Eastham. Families love the sweeping scenic views from the top of the stairs, which lead down to the beach. The beach itself is large, and the water is safe for kids. When the tide is low enough, remnants of one of the Three Sisters lighthouses can be seen out in the water. The beach is also excellent for bird watching, as several different species can be seen fluttering against the cool ocean breeze — including Piping Plovers, a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act who nest here from early spring to early summer.

Make sure to get there early on hot summer days, as parking can get a little tight.
