Interactive exhibits devoted to the history of Thoroughbred racing engage both adults and kids at this well-designed museum. “Horse Play!”, a terrific area where kids can design their own racing silks, learn what it’s like to be a farrier, dress up like a jockey and groom a horse, is a sure bet for at least an hour of hands-on fun for little ones, while older kids can strap on chaps and experience what it’s like to be a jockey on a multi-speed horse racing simulator (48 inches and up; additional fee).
