This museum welcomes visitors of all ages to explore the world through a variety of displays and interactive exhibits. Here, you’ll see a little bit of everything: Ivan the T. Rex, two Egyptians mummies, a shrunken head, a piece of the Berlin Wall, military history, movie memorabilia, and so much more. There are so many great nuggets of history throughout this museum; plan enough time to really peruse and enjoy the exhibits. To keep it interesting for kids, the museum offers scavenger hunts for kids based on their ages. After they complete it, they can return to the museum gift shop to claim a prize. Also, on the third floor, there is a children’s activity center, where kids can color on color sheets, make up their own puppet show or play dress up in the “castle.”
