This museum is exceptionally fun and a wonderful way to learn about Florida. Learn about the history of Florida through fantastical, interactive exhibits that will wow both kids and adults. We especially love “Forever Changed: La Florida,” beginning with the arrival of Ponce de Leon in 1513. The best part? Admission is free!

It’s open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Plan to spend at about two hours at the museum.
