Learn how brain waves work, take a turn in the Tinker Studio, and experience the powerful forces of extreme weather at this hands-on museum for all ages, named one of the top 10 science museums in the country by Mensa. In addition to humorously engaging Awesome Science presentations, the museum offers a series of hands-on programs for little wiggle worms, ages 6 and under, emphasizing creative science exploration. The museum, located in the River Market district, is closed Mondays, except during summer. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
