Climb the short hills and stone stairs to this beautiful viewpoint that overlooks the ocean and beaches of San Juan del Sur. Visit at sunset and you will be in awe!
The impressive Christ of the Mercy statue stands 440 feet tall at the top of viewpoint, with a hand outstretched over the sea. There is a small chapel inside the bottom of the statue, where you can also see how the monument was constructed. It is said that the man who built the statue in 2009 promised to do so after he was cured of cancer.
