This viewpoint, situated about 30 minutes outside of Granada, is spectacular and looks out over Apoyo Lagoon, a volcanic crater that has become a lagoon. You can see the lagoon and Lake Nicaragua beyond the lagoon, as well as Mombacho Volcano. This is a gathering spot for locals and tourists.

Musicians are often performing, vendors are selling snacks and souvenirs, and everyone is taking photos. There are walking trails down to the lagoon, a small zipline to experience, and horses to see as well.

There are public restrooms available; however, there is a small cost to use them.
