Individual tours are offered for the various cliff dwellings around the park, but if you’d like to see them all, book this four-hour “700 Year” tour, which guides you through the history of the various sites. It begins with ancient Pithouse villages dated to 600 A.D., and culminates in a visit to Cliff Palace (but note that sometimes Cliff Palace is closed for preservation work; in this case, visitors see Balcony House instead). The family will learn about culture, architecture, history, archaeology, and more during this popular “visit of a lifetime.”
