On the east coast of the island, south of Kikoa Point, the remote Lopa Beach can be reached by 4WD vehicle. Since the ocean floor is rocky here and the currents can get strong, it’s really not the safest spot for swimming. There are no facilities (e.g., restrooms) here either. Still, for a spell of scenic tranquility, this is a lovely spot to relax and play. Near the beach is the Loko Lopa fishpond.
