A port adventure for many entering the small, rugged town of Skagway, families can step back in time to Skagway’s beginnings as a gold mining town. There wasn’t any gold in these hills, so anyone who stayed on had to find new employment, but families who visit Liarsville are guaranteed to find gold (flakes) when panning. There is also a puppet show with a heroic snow dog, followed by a traditional — and delicious — salmon bake.
