Lauritzen Gardens is Omaha’s Botanical Center — a natural oasis in the middle of an urban city. It’s a 100-acre property featuring an arboretum & bird sanctuary, rose garden, Victorian garden, children’s garden, model train garden, and more! Visitors can walk or take a tram through the gardens. The gardens are open year-round (except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day), with extended hours in the warmer, summer months. Children 6 and under are free!
