This stunningly gorgeous beach boasts white sand so soft that you’d think they’ve been sifted. Ask any local on the island which is the best beach and they’ll say Lanikai, It’s a hidden beach, tucked behind an enclosed neighborhood. But it’s well worth the search. The serenely blue waters are calm, and therefore, not great for surfers. Neither is it the best snorkeling spot on the island, though you’ll still find yourself some fish. The laid-back nature of this beach makes it great for families who don’t need frills. But be warned, there are no restrooms, no showers, no lifeguards, and parking is scarce (street parking only; no lots).
