This is one of the many grand Rockefeller estates found throughout the U.S., located in the tiny town of Sleepy Hollow, of fiction fame. Tours of the main rooms, terraced gardens and Coach Barn, featuring classic cars and horse-drawn carriages, depart from nearby Philipsburg Manor. Tours are available May through September and Nov. 1 to 11, Wednesday through Sunday, and are offered daily in October, except Tuesdays. Tour admission starts from $25 for adults and $23 for kids ages 3 to 17 years.
