This is a moderate hike in the interior of the island that takes about 2.5 hours round trip. This hike is probably best for ages 10 and up (though I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my 8-year-old, who has hiked a lot in our home state of Colorado). The views of Maui and Molokai, as well as gorgeous valleys, at the end of the out-and-back trail are absolutely stunning. Pick up a trail map at the concierge desk at the Lodge at Koele; the trail begins at the resort’s golf clubhouse.
