Did you know Kings Canyon (the actual canyon — not the park) is deeper than the Grand Canyon? Visit to enjoy extraordinary views, but be aware it gets extremely crowded during the summer months (the only time it’s open to the public, typically). It’s about a 30-mile, hour-long drive around the canyon.
