Kings Beach on the north shore of the lake, on the Nevada side, is a popular spot for families, and it’s no wonder. It’s the perfect place for kids to play, with its clear and shallow water, soft white sands, playground, volleyball nets, and water-equipment rentals. There are also picnicking spots with BBQ pits. Bring an umbrella and lots of sunscreen — you may end up here longer than you plan to be.
