Just over an hour from Traverse City, Kilwin’s Chocolate Kitchen offers free tours, in which visitors learn how chocolates, caramels, truffles, “tuttles,” ice cream and more are made. Tours last approximately 30 minutes, and include sweet samples and a stop at the gift shop.
Kilwin’s Chocolate Kitchen Tours are offered 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hairnets are required.
