At Kidtopia, a program designed specifically for kids, kids can enjoy everything from face painting and arts and crafts to ice skating lessons and science experiments. The most exciting activity for children in the winter is to explore the hand-built snow fort on top of Dercum Mountain. Crawl through tunnels, climb atop snowy towers or zip down the slides in this massive snow fort.

In summer, kids can visit the petting zoo, go on a train ride, and watch magic shows. Kids Discovery Days are held every Tuesday from late June through August and involve circus acts, puppet shows, and children’s musicals. Summer entertainment changes weekly, so be sure to check out the activities offered during your stay.

The indoor Kidtopia room offers families plenty of games, movies, books and arts and crafts, like Cupcakes and Canvases where kids can enjoy a cupcake while painting a canvas. Parents stay with their children at Kidtopia and there are different sections for different ages. A variety of programs are offered each week, throughout the year, including a visit with the resort’s avalanche rescue dogs where families can learn about the dog’s job and play with the pups.
