Located in the historic heart of Mendocino Village, this house museum shares the history of the Mendocino Coast. The Kelley House was the home of William Kelly, a Canadian who arrived in Mendocino in the 1850s and became wealthy through the lumber industry. The museum features furniture from the 1800s, and there are historic photos featuring then and now exhibits of Mendocino and artifacts from the Native Americans who first lived in Mendocino.
