During horseracing season, the racetrack hosts special programming on Saturday mornings called Sunrise Trackside (which includes free children’s activities). Although racing season is in April and October, the track is open year-round to the public during training hours. Training takes place from about 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. There is no admission fee during morning training hours. If the kiddos get hungry, Keeneland Track Kitchen is open year-round too.
