With a planetarium, hands-on activities for kids, special seasonal exhibits, music, events, and more, the Kalamazoo Valley Museum is a must for families visiting the Michigan town. Besides the family-friendly displays and happenings, though, the best part of the museum might just be the free admission. All ages are free during regular business hours, which are Monday through Thursday, and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The museum is closed on Sunday and holidays. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
