Perched high up on a hill, Castle Nuremberg is a well preserved symbol of Nuremberg’s importance during the Middle Ages. Dating back to the 11th century, much of the castle was destroyed during WWII, but then restored to its original state. If your family is up for the climb to the top of the hill, you’ll be rewarded with wonderful views of the city. Daily tours are provided in German and in English.
