Stratton is well known for its world-class ski and ride instruction for all ages, but of particular note for children is their Junior Learn to Ski and Ride program, which takes place in a separate learning park safely protected from more advanced skiers and features “magic carpet” and easy-to-ride lifts.
For the youngest skiers, ages 4 to 6, the Little Cub program is a full-day program (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) including two on-snow sessions, lunch and indoor supervision. Alternatively, a half-day program and a one-hour lesson are offered. For beginner skiers ages 7 to 12, the Big Cub program is a full- or half-day (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and includes two on-snow sessions and lunch.
For kids too young for skiing, ages 6 weeks to 3 years, the childcare program is available daily, opening at 8:30 a.m. and closing at 4:30 p.m. Half- and full-day options are available, and lunch and snacks are provided.
