Mini-golf, batting cages, bumper boats and a water park fill the large safari of Jungle Jim’s, located off Coastal Highway or Route 1. The water park will make a splash with kids, as they enjoy the wave pool, spray ground, lazy river and several giant body and tub slides. Little kids will love the zero-entry pools, splash pad, pirate ship and little kid slides recommended for those 5 years old and under. Climb across the rope climb at the activity pool, but watch out for the alligators below! Timing is everything when standing under a giant bucket that happens to dump tons of water on kids waiting below.
Lounge chairs line the park and pools, and lifeguards are always on duty. Restrooms and changing areas can be found throughout, and keyless lockers are also available to rent within the water park area. Bring your own pool towels, and swimming shoes are recommended.
There is no age limit for those interested in testing their skills in the batting cages. The speed can be adjusted and it shoots baseballs and softballs. The water fun continues at the 13 bumper boats, which can squirt water at unassuming participants. Separate from the water park area, the bumper boats can be driven by children as young as 5 years old. Younger children can ride with an adult for free. And don’t forget to attempt a hole-in-one at either of the two 9-hole mini-golf courses when you visit Jungle Jim’s.
