Being this close to Yellowstone and not visiting should be outlawed in this Wild West town. During winter, the only way to see Old Faithful and Yellowstone is by guided snowmobile tours. This tour group leaves from Jackson Hole at 6 a.m. and provides a 90-minute snowmobile tour to Old Faithful, Kepler Cascades, Lewis Falls, Shoshone Overlook, West Thumb and the Continental Divide on a 122-mile, round-trip ride. Tours return to Jackson Hole around 6 p.m. There are also tours to Granite Hot Springs, Towgwotee Mountain Pass and the Continental Divide Trail. Included in the tour are a hot breakfast (Yellowstone), hot lunch, one-piece snowsuit, snow boots, helmet with a visor, mittens, fuel and a guide.
