Learn the history of the sport at the International Surfing Museum. Visit exhibits on the first people that helped Surf City USA get its name on the map. Watch movies and films on surfing at the museum. On Sundays, the museum sponsors free public concerts at the Pier Plaza and in the museum’s parking lot. Admission is free, but a $2 donation is suggested. Hours are Tuesdays from noon to 8 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. Closed Mondays.
