Inner Harbor is the epicenter of Victoria. Everything is happening here. The downtown streets lead directly to the harbor, there are water taxis and ferries taking folks across the water and seaplanes landing and taking off constantly. Many of the bus tours depart from here and there are numerous restaurants, shops and hotels surrounding the area. British Columbia’s Parliament building also overlooks the harbor and is gorgeous to see during the day and lit up at night by 3,300 energy efficient lights. Families can stroll the walkways all along the harbor and check out the various pieces of artwork and statues to be found along the way. The Inner Harbor would be hard to miss when visiting Victoria so be sure to allow yourself plenty of time just to wander and explore.
