This small zoo is ideal for younger children and can be explored in about an hour or two. Kids will love to see the monkeys, owls, horse, penguins, otters, ducks and of course, the goats. Don’t forget to bring some quarters because feeding the goats from the goat food vending machine may be the highlight of the zoo trip. Kids will love it and parents will love the photo opportunity.
The zoo playground with multiple slides and climbing features may be where kids spend the most time after seeing all the animals. Strollers for younger kids are ideal at this zoo as there is a paved trail that winds around the whole zoo, but walking the trail is also convenient and easy for kids who want to see everything up close.
