It’s a small facility, but the Harriett Tubman Museum and Education Center is worth a short visit during your time in Cambridge, Maryland. You’ll find an array of artifacts and images of the woman who rescued nearly 70 enslaved individuals via The Underground Railroad.

At the museum, you’ll also find information and a map for the Harriett Tubman Underground Railroad Byway, a 125-mile stretch of road with featured stops for events and stories about the heroine.

The museum is open 12 to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
