Located in Central New York, Greek Peak Mountain Resort offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing and fat biking, in addition to both day and night skiing and snowboarding. More than 40 downhill trails are available.
In the summer, families can check out the Outdoor Adventure Center for zip-lining, ropes courses, a mountain coaster, climbing wall, laser tag, and a Eurobungy.
Lessons
Both private and group lessons are available for beginners, and they include everything from training for “Pee Wees” to special pricing for college-age kids. If traveling with little ones too young for the slopes, the resort offers childcare at a reasonable price.

Kids ages 6 and under ski free at Greek Peak (with a paying adult)! Mid-week discounts are available, as well.
Dining
There are five restaurants on the mountain: Trax Pub & Grill, which serves burgers, wings, and the like; Taverna, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Acorn Grill, which features a separate kids’ menu; Bobcat Lounge, where you can enjoy cocktails and light bites; and Edgewater Cafe, located at Hope Lake Lodge and serving pizza, salads, sandwiches and more.
Lodging
Hope Lake Lodge is located a short walk from Greek Peak Mountain Resort. The hotel is home to Cascades Indoor Water Park, the only indoor water park in Central New York; day passes are available for families who aren’t staying at the hotel. Other hotel perks include an arcade, spa, complimentary Wi-Fi, and accommodations that can sleep as many as 10 guests. You might also consider renting a privately-owned house at Arcadia Village nearby.
