This is a world-famous beach, known for it’s 2.5-mile stretch of sand, aqua waves and plenty of entertainment for everyone in the family. The beach along the southwest coastline of the island provides the most popular tourist spot on the island. Families can camp out on the beach for the day, reserve a hotel room nearby, or just visit for a few hours. It’s easily accessible and there for both locals and visitors alike.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars to quench any food craving or appetite. There are chaise lounge rentals, water sports rentals, island trips, motorboat trips and almost everything a visitor could imagine at a beach.
During high reason, plan on arriving at the beach early if possible. The chaise lounges can pile up three deep on days when there are multiple cruise ships in port. However, just meander down the beach from the crowds and you will never have trouble finding space for a towel and a dip in the sea.
